Careful bringing your family here. My son was originally scheduled with an excellent doctor for his diabetes care. At the time, we had been told he was Type 2, not Type 1, and we were managing his blood sugar with long-acting insulin. His numbers began creeping up to around 200 (not DKA), so we scheduled a follow-up appointment. Dr William Dean was and absolutely amazing doctor. Now he's gone I wish him nothing but the best, and very much love. He helped me through all of my 1st stages of lupus (which were horrific)... Something always happens to great people. From story I've heard and experienced from Granbury doctor whatever happen with doctor Dean, I definitely would of worked through it, he's a amazing person. I had a deeply disappointing experience with this doctor's office. My husband called to verify his appointment, only to find out it had been canceled without any notification. When we finally managed to speak to someone, the staff member was unhelpful and seemed to have a negative attitude. As a new patient, my husband had filled out all of his information accurately, yet the office claimed there were discrepancies in his records. Is absolutely amazing doctor he explains things but as far as going over test results and getting back with you not very good I've called and left four messages and still nobody's called me.
