It was great for 2 years. Then management changed & my dr left. Now it's all about the $ and not as much about what the patient needs.
I’ve lived in large cities most of my adult life, and when I moved to Granbury, I expected more personalized medical care. I didn’t necessarily expect cutting-edge treatment—just good care from a physician who genuinely cares. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience. I really want to continue care at this clinic with Yuliya Thomas, I saw her after Dr. Kline's departure earlier this month. I had been with a PCP for 20 years in Arlington when I made the switch to Dr. Kline this year so our relationship was brief but I immediately felt so comfortable with Ms Thomas. Unfortunately it's been impossible to get a referral for surgery sent after many messages back and forth and even after I called UHC for an override on the wait time. Dr. Kline was amazing, but now that she is leaving, this practice has been nothing but difficult and made things impossible to transition over to other doctors.
Careful bringing your family here. My son was originally scheduled with an excellent doctor for his diabetes care. At the time, we had been told he was Type 2, not Type 1, and we were managing his blood sugar with long-acting insulin. His numbers began creeping up to around 200 (not DKA), so we scheduled a follow-up appointment.
