Very interesting that the people writing awesome 5 star reviews seem to be very condiscending and attitudish just like the bad reviews say and are all new accounts with only one review. I'd venture to say that these great reviews are coming from the owners and or employees. Based on this finding, I'll be taking my H&K USP 45AP purchase elsewhere. I have purchased many handguns and rifles over the years from various gun shops around the Metro-Atlanta area and I can say without a doubt that at Lakeside Guns, the staff is extremely knowledgable and accommodating of all. I love the fact that it is locally owned and operated. STAY AWAY. I stopped by this store to purchase some AR clips and noticed a pistol in their cabinet. I asked to look at the firearm, upon inspection I noticed the firearm had been fired numerous times and was in "not new condition". I asked if the firearm was used and was told very rudly it was new. Opening the cylinder and inspecting the barrel showed considerable gunpowder residue and lead fouling, the bluing on the front of the cylinder was 60% gone and the cylinder was badly scratched. As a first time gun buyer we were recommended this business. We went in and should have immediately left. We were treated as though we were ignorant, and that their entire staff was superior to anyone who walked in their doors. We were asked to fill out paperwork for the background check and did so accordingly. We were told the checks were running slow that day but that they should have it back within a couple of hours. This place should be avoided at all costs, I went in there to talk about one of my guns but because it wasn't a $1000 pistol or a glock the guy told me out right my gun "is a p.o.s. and I should sell it". I brought a Ruger Sr9 compact in... I have never been disrespected like this before in a store. Very impressive gun store and staff. I’ve had several transactions including walk-in retail, trade-in, special order, and LE FFL transfer. I have dealt directly with Kristina, Casey, and Andra. In the store, they are courteous and engaging. One of my special orders required a follow-up phone call and a couple of emails. They were done promptly and reliably. I have nothing but great things to say about Lakeside Guns; its staff, owners, customer service, and merchandise are all top-notch. This gun store would be great if they (1) did some house cleaning with some staff members and (2) implemented some good customer service. The saleman by the name of Casey, is bringing this business down and needs to be let go. He gives this store a bad rap for sure! They have great products, but the CS is poor. They used to have a black guy that worked there when they first opened that was great! very knowledgeable NRA guy, they need to bring him back!
Horrible service they talk to you like your stupid.I took my 1911 in to get worked on and they said it would be done the next day well it wasn't and they did not even bother calling me. So I call they said let me call you back and see what's going on.No call back! I'll never bring my guns here or tell any of my freinds.
