I am soThankful Todd Schatz took over Lakeside when his Father Herman retired. There Loving Care is not replaceable. It is hard to find 2 VETERINARIANS that care more about your Pets than money. This Family definitely does. Thanks for all your Loving Care over the years Todd & Herman Schatz!

Regarding Lakeside Animal Hospital Went to vet to get ear drops for my dog. While I was there he threw up in backseat mostly on his blanket but some on the seat and lots on feet. It was about 750 closed at 8 and while still in parking lot I called receptionist told her what happened and that he hadn't eaten in two days. She brought out some paper towel and I cleaned some of it up. Asked her if vet would see him to listen to stomach. She went to ask and they said no and to call tomorrow. I was sooooooo angry. Dr. Adam is awesome! He is so sweet and gentle to my elder cat. My cat had seen other doctors there but he seemed more personable and really took the time to listen to what I had to say.
I took my dog to the emergency vet on Sunday where she was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. Today she started throwing up again, so I called my normal vet. After calling 20 times and getting a busy signal each time I was extremely frustrated. Finally on the 25th try I got through to someone. To which I was told they had no available time slots and could not get my dog in or make a future appointment for her tomorrow. Needless to say I will be switching vets ASAP.
My rottweiler Ollie had knee surgery last October. ...they were great with him..even when he was scared! Thanks so much!!
Took my beautiful calico cat Roxxy there to be cremated. The staff at Lakeside is very compassionate and caring. When I went to pick her up she was in a metal tin with paw prints on it and came with a certificate of cremation that it was done privately (no other animal ashes mixed in with hers). Very tastefully done and the staff seemed genuinely sorry for my loss. I would definitely use them again for any vet service as you can tell they really care about animals.
