It's alright, but not a forever home. When I first got approved for my apartment, I received a call from the office. I asked if I could view it ahead of time and was told I could not. No biggie. They sent me a virtual tour and told me my apartment would be the same. USB outlets, updated interior and everything. I was very excited. STAY AWAY!! Thankfully I will be leaving this place in a few weeks. It has been nothing but trouble from the beginning. When I first talked to someone in the office (when we were going to move in) they knew what unit was becoming available but were unable to show at the time.. okay no problem. Love it! I absolutely love Sparrows Point! I moved in last October to a 1bed/1bath renovated apartment. Before I moved in any of my personal things I sprayed the perimeter of the whole apartment including outside. I have had maybe 2 bugs in my apartment the entire time living here and they were dead already. A few months ago, I had a leak in my kitchen and the wall was starting to look really nasty. Not worth the price I could write a dissertation on why you shouldn't live here. But here's a short list -Roaches (They hired people to spray and we ended up with more roaches because they didn't actually spray) -No working washer/dryers -Maintenance never fixes anything - The staff doesn't work the hours posted - They send aggressive emails to the residents on a weekly basis and constantly threaten to fine us -The contractors they hired knocked our internet out and broke both our doors -The dumpsters are constantly surround... read more
Refused to return Application Fee My daughter applied to this apartment. We paid a $75 Application Fee and a $200 Administration Fee. She was denied due to making just under 3X the rent (even though we were told 2.5X the rent). They refuse to return the $200 Application Fee and the woman was very nasty when my daughter asked for it to be returned. Don't Apply Here! It's a Money Grab! They should return the $200 Application Fee.
Gross Front office is slow and never answers the phone. Maintenance guys are sweet and try their best but can take a while to fix something. There are people breaking into cars and stealing cars at the apartment complex and management hasn’t done anything to stop it. The water is off at least 3/4 times a month for maintenance. The dog park is full of poop and there’s roaches. The exterminator just sprays whatever and leaves but doesn’t really do anything other than walk along the walls of the apartment. Great office crew Love the employees here everyone is very friendly and welcoming
Current Renter This is probably the worst place I’ve ever lived. The people in the leasing office never know what’s going on and fail to accurately relay info. Parking is terrible there’s never enough spots. During the winter maintenance will snow your car in but won’t dig it out even they did it. The leasing office intentionally reminds you after that fact about the 60 day vacate notice so they can collect more money from you. Don’t waste you’re time looking here, there’s plenty of better looking apartments in the area.
TERRIBLE DO NOT MOVE HERE! Every time it rains it floods there’s roaches&moths and the neighbors are loud. The onsite washer and dryers are dirty and do not work! Not to mention the front office is very unprofessional! All they do is sit there instead of doing their jobs!
