I was hospitalized here for 3 times so far (a bit unfortunate), and every time the staff never felt short of expectations. Kind and empathetic nurses, knowledgeable physicians. Even nutrition staff show a warm smile that collectively assist in the recovery process. I've been to other hospitals but this one makes you feel you're being taken care of by family. For the most part this hospital took care of me while I was admitted in the ER. The check in process was quick during the time of the evening I arrived. They took me back into intake immediately and asked the standard questions and took the initial vitals, then took me into an ER exam room to see the doctor and take blood and specimen. Rainy was my ER room nurse and was very pleasant, nice, caring, and personable. I had to be admitted and took me to the overflow rooms area and was in room 14 with a shared bathroom. Amanda the physician assistant or nurse practitioner in the Emergency is extremely rude and hostile. Her professionalism is at an all-time low! All I asked was for labs to be done after I heard her speaking with another team member saying I didn’t need labs and she lost her cool becoming argument and raising her voice and she was upset! It took absolutely nothing to trigger her! The rest of her team stood around silently never de-escalating the issue. Everyone was really nice and professional. The only thing that was bad. Was you answer all the questions on the E check-in but then when you get there, you have to answer all the same questions again it was a little redundant, but other than that everything was good.
