My wife had to make an ER visit tonight / this morning. Overall, the experience was good. Erica was a great nurse and took good care of her. The on-duty doc was also very good and both had good bedside manner. Healthcare aside, bedside manner is a very important part of patient care. Which brings me to Steve. I should have listened to the bad reviews but I went to the ER here so that my doctor would be able to easily access my records. Big mistake. The ER nurse practitioner did not listen to me at all and basically yelled at me about medications that I take that are managed by a specialist even though she knew nothing about my history. She was very rude and judgmental and made me feel like dirt. Please heed my warning and visit literally any other hospital. I’ve been to several Baylor hospitals over the years and this is the second worst, behind Baylor in McKinney. We came yesterday at around 3:30pm for a severe headache that was caused by a CSF leak I obtained during an epidural injection I got the previous day with my pain management doctor.
