I called Lakemoor Transmission on a Wednesday afternoon asking about a transmission and transfer case swap on my '05 Dodge Ram 2500. By that evening, Chris had sourced both of the parts I wanted for me along with the upgrades I asked for, and I dropped my truck off. Not two days later on Friday evening, Chris had my old transmission and transfer case removed, the new ones installed, and my truck back on the road. I called Lakemoor Transmission after seeing a lot of postive reviews about their services. Tried to narrow down a possible issue with the crankshaft sensor. The gentlemen was so kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. Made me feel like I was in good hands. Gave me additional information once my car was finished. I highly recommend this shop.
I had a starter and flexplate issue with my truck. It needed a modification done to use a different starter. Chris worked through this problem and solved every obstacle it threw at them What a fantastic business and super friendly and honest. Great prices as well I would highly recommend Chris,Luke and Lake Moore Transmissions any day. Thanks again guys
Chris was amazing to work with. I had an issue that would come and go and worked with Cheri’s on different options. He did not pressure or try to sell me a new transmission because it may not necessarily be the trans. He would inform me of what he found and then let me do some research or gave me time to make a decision. All this time was taking up a rack in his shop and he was not pressuring me to hurry up. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know that needs work done. Thank you Chris and team!!
I thought they were great to deal with, super nice and accommodating, put all new brakes and rotors on my truck in 2022, I was surprised my front breaks were grinding. Took it to the shop and was told "whoever put these brakes on put on the cheapest brakes on the market...total junk". What a disappointment because I know i didn't pay for the cheapest brakes. What was a "great experience" turned into an "expensive nightmare".
