Don't rent from Lake Towne! The property is in a great location, however, it is near impossible to contact management (they are out of office nearly constantly) and when they do respond, they do not follow through with what was requested (eg. the back window of my apartment was kicked in in October, I contacted management immediately, was told someone would be over to fix it the same day, and as of April that very window remains broken.) Bed Bug infestation! WARNING TO STUDENTS! 615 Howard Place, or the Villa Maria may offer cheap rent, but it is infested with bed bugs, mice and cockroaches. I had to remove a family member with disabilities from that building, and after cleaning it out ourselves, they kept all the security deposit. The public health department was notified. It is amazing that this building is allowed to operate, and I can only guess at the condition of their other locations.
