A lot of childhood memories in this building. Nice apartments in the perfect locale.
Except for the elevators the place is awesome. Recently management has announced to replace old ones by May next year so i am hopeful that the problem with elevators will be a thing of past soon.
Super disappointed in the amenity of the business center already. I moved in a week ago and the computers don't fully work nor does the printer. When asked about in the business office the response was "some residents print multiple pages at a time, which causes the ink to quickly go." So because a student uses the printer, an amenity that this facility promotes, the materials won't be replaced for another month? Oh. Okay.
It's pretty sad when you have to build in 10-20 minutes of extra time just to leave your apartment. I say that because that's how long you will be waiting for an elevator. And when one finally does come, prepare to squeeze yourself in there with 20 other people. Lake Shore Plaza is either completely aware of the issues, or is ignoring them. They don't even have the courtesy to post signs in the lobby or send an email to residents apologizing for the problems or giving us an update on the situation.
There are lots of problems with this building from elevators issues, bad management, and discussing laundry facility. I am very surprised that this building has 3.9 star rating on here. Every year management increases the rent and their response to the increase is because they are trying to stay competitive with the buildings in the area. I don't believe management has ever seen how well maintained the buildings in the area are.....

12th time yes, not exaggerating 12th time someone has asked me to sign a petition while 20 of us are waiting in elevator bank because elevators have had SERIOUS issues since JANUARY. Makes us late to work etc. So many other issues including the pool. Sad because location and units are cool. Potential but every single day morning and night people are complaining about mgmt and how our concerns go unanswered. The elevator issue for six months is truly unacceptable.
