My mother, a Villages resident just visited LRUC and the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic and with new cases spiking in Florida, the medical staff at LRUC were not wearing masks. When asked, they said “the owner doesn’t believe in the pandemic”. Unbelievably irresponsible - bordering on malpractice. Recommend People find another health care option - especially if over age 50 or have other risk factors.

I went in to the Lake Sumter Landing office and there was a mixup of some sort with my insurance copay. I never make a copay since getting Medicare along with my Blue Cross policy. The person at the desk insisted that I pay the copay. I called Blue Cross and the lady explained that I didn’t have a copay, but the receptionist refused to talk to her. Although have been many times before, I arrived just at the right time. No long wait and I had a doctor that was very efficient and good. Dr Elmir . It was a pleasant experience.

Useless. Took my daughter here and they just sent us over to the hospital as they couldn't administer an IV. What a joke
love they way they took care of my granddaughter. we felt like we were family it was amazing, no waiting they took her right in and the following day they gave us a call to check on her thank you for your concern. i told my friends and family if they ever need to go to a Urgent Care i said go to Lake Regional Urgent Care they the best .Thanks one more time you guys are the best hope you all have a great day .
