This was our second year renting here and we loved it. After a terrible experience with a neighboring marina it was a breath of fresh air dealing with these guys.
About to visit for my 5th year in a row. We always get the double decker pontoon and the prices compared to other places are unbeatable. It's always a great time and something I look forward to most each year.
We rented from this place twice and both times we have had a bad experience. The first time it was four of us and they didn't mention they had only tandem kayaks and we had to rent 4 kayaks assuming they are single .when we reached the venue ,he said we can't cancel the other two tandem kayaks !! We ended up paying for all four. Now we are here this weekend, booked the 10 seated pontoon and while on the lake, the lid from on top off the exhaust engine . I have been renting a 28' pontoon here each spring and fall for years. Never had a problem! Boating and fishing all day on Monroe is always the highlight of my annual spring/fall camping trip with friends.
The staff was really nice in terms of just general service. We rented a double decker pontoon and unfortunately spent 90% of the day battling the drift away...we kept running in to the shore and nearly other boats. Our boat only had one small anchor...a double decker is like a metal sail boat. A boat that size should have 3 anchors if not 4. Its disappointing to think that with the amount of money it cost that they can't equip their pontoons with multiple anchors so their customers can enjoy the day on the lake. We called th... read more
Great time on great boats! Professional staff eager to assist. We had two seniors that needed a little extra help; we appreciate it. We've been renting for years and will continue to do so. Prices are very affordable for a fun lake day. Thanks!
It was our first time driving a boat and first time using them to rent from. I liked how quick it was to get down to the dock and get going. Boats were ready to go and clean. I would suggest to future renters to arrive 20-30mins prior to get on your boat on time and get loaded up. I would suggest also that the staff could ask if it being our first time to be better detailed on how to use the equipment. Do's and do not's. Maybe a little more friendly too.
My friends and I used this rental company today. The boat was well maintained and ready to go when we arrived which was great. When we returned, the propeller was damaged and we had to pay for a new one. I mention this only because the staff members, upon our arrival, (one man in particular) were incredibly rude to us. I felt like a child being scolded! He made us feel as though the boat was ruined and we were a huge problem for him.
