I have been visiting the Lake Manawa Sailing Association regularly since 2021. Our group hosts paddling events from the club on Mondays during the paddle season. In 2022, I became a member. I especially love the overall atmosphere, friendly and welcoming members and spending time at the shelter after sunset. We LOVE being out on the water and the sailing club is a great place to enjoy the beauty of Lake Manawa. This is a true hidden gem in Council Bluffs!
Nice people, fun place to learn how to sail and get better. Nothing better than a warm summer day and cool summer breeze gliding you across the water effortlessly. Any Sunny Saturday afternoon with winds 5-20 mph come out for the sailing and camaraderie at noon, boats head out by 1pm! Also Sail every other Sunday about 1pm, evenings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday about 5:30pm Hope you enjoy it too. Check out the fun.
