Lake Hardware has a better selection than Lowes or Home Depot on most items and they will load you up when getting lumber unlike the ones down in Lake Jackson. There are a couple that are not that good finding stuff you ask for but most know exactly where it is located in the store when you ask----most of the time at Lowes or Home Depot the workers are not to be found to even ask a question----They do have the largest selection of bolts, screws and etc in Brazoria County with maybe the exception of Brazos Fastners
The people at Lake Hardware came across to me as being extremely helpful , I have had last minute projects before and they saved me at closing time and I apologise to them for that. I had questions about different things if that person didnt know the answer they would find someone there who did . Thank You Lake Hardware in ANGLETON & LAKE JACKSON.
Lake Hardware is by far the best' Lowes could learn a lot from them. I always get help within a few steps of walking in the door. I absolutely love this store.
WORST SERVICE EVER, IF THE JERK WHO WAITED ON ME HADNT SHUT UP ID PROB KILLED HIS STUPID SELF DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO LOWES, ITS A DRIVE BUT UNTIL LOWES MOVES INTO ANGLETON AND PUTS THESE DIRT BAGS OUT OF BUSINESS, ITS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE
I have been here a couple of times. Every time I have been they always give me the wrong size boards and I even ask the employees if they are sure they are the right size, but when I get home they are always the wrong size. I have to go through the frustration of loading and unloading, exchanging them, wasting my time and gas. They dont care though. Im never going there again. Id rather take the longer trip to Lowes. At least they know what they are doing and the prices are way cheaper than lake hardware.
Sales staff is very helpful!!! If they dont have something, they will track it down for you from a local merchant. We had a very pleasant experience there and Tony went above and beyond the call of duty to get us a product. Other businesses could follow their lead!!!

If you want great customer service this place is it. Everytime I need help someone is right there! Amazing. I am willing to pay a little extra for what I buy just for the service alone. I have lived in Angleton now for almost a year and I have never been disappointed once. Plus they always seem to have what I need for my 28 year old home. Truly impressive to say the least.
