I saw today’s Newsday article on veggie burgers in local restaurants. The Lake Grove diner's burger was featured and my husband and I were going, today, so we ordered them. They were delicious and huge. Will definitely recommend them and we substituted the French fries for the cauliflower mashed “potato”. Great diner with excellent service, I’m sorry I forgot our waitresses name.
The lake grove diner is by far the best diner I’ve been to on Long Island! The cleanest, the friendliest, and the most INCREDIBLE food! I walked in with my wife for a nice lunch today and was instantly greeted by not only one person BUT TWO people. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. Brought all the amazing food out pretty fast and came back a couple of times to check on us. The prices were super reasonable considering how much food we were served. No complaints here. Great Food Attentive And Obliging Staff !Feels Like Home !
Our college alumni group has held its annual dinner celebration here for the past couple of years. Peter and his staff are always so professional and accommodating. The service is always good and quick, and the food is delicious. The large menu is particularly helpful to us because there is something for everyone. We also appreciate the room in the back, which is perfect for hosting events. Thanks for helping us to make this event so special.😊
love this place, eat here all the time. foods great especially the stuffed french toast. Ryan the morning manager is cool and Kevin always does a great job. the whole staff is very friendly. uts a great diner the way a diner should be. huge portions very clean nice staff
The breakfast was amazing. Ryan and Jen were very attentive to my families needs. The Oreo pancakes were fabulous. Dinner was just as amazing as breakfast was. Christin had to be the greatest waiter I have had in a long time. He always made sure we had everything we needed and didn't hover like other waiters in other establishments do. Peter should be proud of his wait staff. They are friendly and humble. Oh and the portions are generous.
