RecommendedI am an experienced camper been to many campsites in VA. Nicest people EVER and the bathrooms/showers are spotless!
Haven't been for a few years, but this has been a favorite camp ground for over 20 years! Beautiful lake! Always had so much fun on 4th of July!!
Great place. Very friendly people!!! Not your typical campground with most spots being owned and permanent. Nice place non the less. We had rain the majority of the time but were able to make the most of our trip with our tree covered site. I would recommend this place for avid campers. We will definitely be back.
Staff and fellow campers were all friendly, we’ve even booked a handful more trips because our family enjoyed it here so much! Playground and pool are lakeside. Views are amazing. Lake is perfect for boating, swimming.
We had a great time camping at lake Gaston! Everyone that worked there was very friendly and nice and the camping area was very clean and relaxing. Very family oriented place and we will definitely be back soon!

What a great place to stay for a weekend of camping and lake fun. Our Bass club stayed this past weekend. We rented 4 cabins and they were perfect. The staff placed us in four cabins beside each other and found us parking for 7 trucks with boat trailers. We will be back.
