Been the Star in Lahaina since opening as David Paul's Lahaina Grill, almost 30 years ago.
It will go down as one of the best meals I have ever been served! If you stay on Maui you’re missing out if you don’t give it a try. I personally think anything you order will blow your mind. We started with the spring rolls..... amazing! Maui onion soup........ don’t know what the secret is but I want to find out. It was out of this world! The filet was beyond perfection! Also ask for Richard! There are waiters, then there is this guy! The way he makes sure all is perfect makes you wonder if he owns the place!

Unbelievable food and our wait staff (Sergio) thank you. I love all aspects of a great meal and this nailed it! Escargot, trio cakes for appetizers with a chef special and the seared Ahi. All I can say is regardless of price this is a meal to remember! Thank you for this on our first trip to Maui.
Excellent service, interesting and unusual (for Maui) menu featuring fish, meats, some south of the border touches (I had the chili relleno - very good) and an extensive wine list. We were surprised (actually, I wasn’t) with a special raspberry birthday desert and finished it off with excellent coffee. The house photographer offered to capture the birthday moment for us and even sent us the JPG the next day for free.
