I had been a client of Lager Counseling for almost the last 3 years. The staff is kind, however the practice has not been the right fit for me. Over this period of time, I have had to cycle between a couple of therapists due to either poor fit or due to quick therapist turnover which was a barrier to progress and led to a lack of connection/trust. I have never left Joanne without feeling lighter. I love the experience at Lager so much- I just brought my child in to start his counseling journey.

From the beginning staff make you feel supported, and understand. They listen to ensure you are linked to the right counselor to achieve your goals. My 5 year old was struggling and bringing him to Lager was the best decision. He loves coming and we can already see improvement

I’ve been going to the Wantagh location for about 6 months now with Allie and it’s been a 10/10 experience thus far. This is my third attempt at finding a good therapist / office and I finally hit the jackpot!! Receptionists are amazing, office vibes are immaculate and therapy is going exactly how i’ve always wanted it to!!
