I called today to inquire what the fees are for a check up for an American awaiting his Canadian Permanent Resident card. I was told "I cannot tell you the fees". She said, you can make an appointment and then the doctor will tell you how much". I said, okay, so should we just bring a check book and be surprised with the amount? She said, we dont normally charge our clients but your husband is not our client so I dont know how much it will cost". I dont get it.
