Banjos in the Background? The food is so good here that you'd expect the banjos to start playing in the background. When the Louisiana transplants recommend this restaurant, you know it's good.
Are you kidding? That first "review" was written by the owner or company exec. There was no jazz music or beads. While their regular menu looks good, we went for the prime rib buffet. Shoe leather! And the sides were well below regular hotel fare. The Au Jus was cold and ketchup has more kick than their horse radish. Oh yeah, their newspaper ad said "soups". Guess what - no soup for you. My advice - go to any tavern and order any Nobel-Sysco entree. By far a better value. This place won't last.
