My daughter lived here for 4 years. Like others have mentioned, Julie was a great manager. Unfortunately, she is no longer there and it shows. We needed to move my daughter out this past fall due to it not being a safe environment anymore.
I've lived at the Lafayette for several years now and I love it here. The management is friendly and efficient - they always handle things promptly! The tenants I live with are quiet and polite. It's an excellent location near to everything you would need to live downtown (grocery stores, banks, etc.) It's thanks to the Lafayette that I love living in Portland.
Beyond amazing management. Julie was super friendly and accommodating. I was so happy to live here while attending college!
I cannot say enough great things about the manager Julie! She is so kind and positive. Even after moving out she still made herself available to help me. I've always rented apartments and I've never had a manager as wonderful as she is. She played a part in making my living experience at the Lafayette a positive one. The apartments are affordable and well kept and I never had any issues getting a hold of Julie, the manager, or maintenance.
