Honestly, I experienced Dr Courtney Ladika to be unprofessional, dismissive, and callous. Dr Ladika wrote incorrect information on my medical report. She arrogantly did not address my health concerns and was abrasive.
Dr. Ladika was efficient, effective and personable. Perfect. We got exactly the help we needed.
I had the worst doctor's visit experience ever with Dr. Ladika. She saw me for less than 3 minutes during which she entirely dismissed my concerns and hardly evaluated me. She spent more time looking at the notes on her computer than my physical concern itself. Then after prescribing me something, she didn't even bother to print me a sheet with instructions on its usage or direct me to the front desk for further help. She started by lecturing me about what I should and shouldn’t tell people about my neurological condition when she is not a neurologist herself and didn’t even understand what I was talking about. Dismissed my problems because I am “too young” to have those issues she thought. Did not seem concerned at all about what I wanted to talk about, and proceeded to interrupt me and talk over me numerous times during my appointment, which I found very unprofessional.
I was slowly getting worse and worse as I saw Dr. Latika because she was extremely uninterested in my health. She suggested I was there to get opiods. I became so ill that I finally ended up in the hospital and was close to dying. I would not see her again or go to the place she works if it was the only one available. I had been a patient there prior to Dr. Latika for many years. Sad.
She was unconcerned about my medical issue and dismissed me before even hearing all my symptoms. I waited two months for this appointment and she spent about two minutes with me. She couldn’t be bothered. I’ve never seen anything like it before. My first two visits with her were similar to this one. Totally unfeeling and uncaring.
I got in an car accident and needed to see my primary doctor in 3-5 days per the ER to make sure there were no additional issues and to determine the best way to handle the pain I was in. I was told that aches were to be expected and that they would make an appointment for me in three months. Not professional.
I'm glad Dr. Ladika is here in Eureka. She takes a no-nonsense patient-doctor agreement approach.
I have heard that she doesn't like to treat people on welfare, but she has been very nice to me. She seems competent and caring and encouraging.
