Went in for lab work. Blood draw and urine sample. Was told by receptionist that they did not have a bathroom for patients to give a urine sample and tried to give me a kit to take with me and bring back. I live an hour away, so that wasn't happening. In my opinion, that means they aren't a real lab. Just put a sign on the door that says blood draws only. There’s 2 locations on Irving Ave. 475 (Madison) and 739 (across from Crouse Hospital). Both have different hours of operation, so checking LACNY’s website is better than Google. Staff here has always been super nice and efficient. Update: This is now LabCorp!! Lab Alliance does not exist anymore.
Came today for time sensitive, but routine test for a phlebotomist to draw. Their policy is to take patients until 12:15pm. I walked in at 12:07pm and the registration light was already off. I called out “Hello” a couple of times and the phlebotomist saw me and went to get the receptionist. The receptionist was clearly annoyed when she asked for my script. Melissa is an amazing phlebotomiist. Shes kind and compassionate and knows whats she's doing. Im normally I hard stick but she got it first time!
