Once a year my doctor requests blood work to verify medication is being taken, I guess. Last time I made an appt with labcorp online, they told me they didn't run the blood test at that location, so I had to reschedule & make another trip to different location. This facility is horrible Nicklaus children's hospital needs to do better. We have had nothing but issues with them from the very beginning. My baby was a preemie so the first time we went there they said he was too small. We tried going there a few more times but it was always an issue. Today my husband took my son for labs only because we needed to get viles from them for a different exam. Figured it's been 2 years so maybe things are better but boy were we wrong. DO NOT USE FOR BABIES OR TODDLERS This morning I had the misfortune of having an appointment for my 17 month old at the Labcorp inside Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The woman drawing the blood called Lorena Cabrera was nasty, dismissive, disrespectful and simply showed a lack of empathy that has no place in a medical facility for children and babies. Two visits. Hours wasted. A child awakened at 6 AM and kept fasting. Multiple attempts to contact them. An appointment booked for a test they could not perform. And absolutely no meaningful attempt to correct the situation. On top of all of this, the facility itself is poorly maintained and not particularly clean, and the patient rooms are completely inadequate for a pediatric setting.
