I have been having lab work done for years at many locations thru out the state, hospitals, Labcorp and Quest but not a single location comes close to the organization, efficentcy and more then anything the friendly humane service as Labcorp in Cobbleskill. I believe the phlebotomist name is Michelle, she is extremly efficient, pleasant and professional. Super clean! Super professional! Topnotch!
Unfortunately, I don’t recommend taking your baby/toddler to Michelle. I never give poor reviews, but I have to speak up in this case. Before I took my baby to this LabCorp. I called the phlebotomist and asked her if she had experience with pediatric lab draws, she said she did. So I brought my six month old to Michelle for lab work and she wasn’t going to use a butterfly needle.. I had to request a butterfly needle and she was reluctant to use one but did. I always see Michelle who is fantastic. This time there was a substitute who was professional but chatty. She didn’t get to me until an hour after my scheduled appointment. She was very apologetic and I felt bad for her. Later Monday afternoon my arm swelled at the site where the blood was drawn and hurt terribly. Tuesday my arm is still swollen, sore to the touch and terribly bruised. This has never happened before and is my first bad experience.
