Scheduled a visit online for today, drove here fasting but the office is closed due to a holiday. No note on the door or anything. Shouldn't the scheduling not be available for today then?
Brought in sample that was marked as needing to be refrigerated. Greeter refuesed to take the test sample because she insisted that she knew more than the doctor and insisted it needed to be frozen when I was clearly marked as needing to be refrigerated. About what I expect from the joke that Americans call “medical care.”
Had an appointment at 2.15pm (Fasting), drove 20 mins to get there only to be told system was down and could only take paper orders. I’ve been to multiple offices in the past where system has been down and They have always been able to contact me ahead of time. This was very unprofessional. Having system down is no excuse not to inform patients. Atleast close the building for the day if that is the case
The woman who works there is very good and professional. She can draw blood almost without you feeling a thing. The only problem is that the office is very busy and she is overworked. She needs an assistant.
Checked in online for at around 9:45am for a 10am appointment and waited until 10:31am to be notified that this center wasn’t operating without a printed doctor’s order due to system failures. System failures are inevitable but not communicating with patients that they are unable to be seen at the time of their appointment is just very unprofessional. Generally don’t have many issues with Labcorp but this was just an unfortunately awful experience.
