Went with my wife this morning for a walk-in blood test ordered by her OBGYN. The wait time was fair for a walk in. No problem there. The 1 star is due to the very unprofessional behavior of the phlebotomist. Not only did he mock her for the long spelling of her name, but handled her in a very rough manner. My wife has had blood drawn before and never been manhandled by any provider. When she came out from having blood drawn she was visibly shaken and upset from his treatment. Incompetent. Didn't collect enough specimen, had to re-test. Took one week to notify about their failure.
This used to be the best Lab Corp in the area- great with kids, easy to get in. Now, it is almost impossible to get a fasting appointment and they aren’t taking walk ins which isn’t represented on the website.
1.5 hour wait with no other east bay labs taking appointments. Absolutely ridiculous. How could it be any worse?
I don’t know what the fudge they’re doing over here since they moved, but RUN AWAY. 2/24/2025 12 pm brought my mom in, gets bloodwork constantly for thyroid. For the first time in decades it hurt real bad AND left a two inch tall bloody welt. I sent my mom back in and the tech had the nerve to ask her what SHE did. Fire the whole staff. Start from scratch. I imagine you could get better care at the free fudging clinic. Nightmare fuel. Wouldn’t bring MY DOG to get bloodwork here
