Littleton,Co. had a appointment for a 3hrs glucose test with fasting for this morning at 10:15 a.m. and showed up at 10:00 a.m. to be told I should have been there at 8 a.m. because they close for lunch at 12 noon... I am 31 weeks pregnant with twins and they said I can just come back tomorrow... needless to say I am not to happy with the way they spoke to me like I was a idiot. she said come back tomorrow like I am just sitting at home doing nothing...
You need to retrain all your lab staff on very very basic customer service skills, or else not overwork them to their breaking point so much that they mistreat, yell, or condescend the clients without any repercussions.
Drove over an hour for an appointment I scheduled with them and they were closed. They also wouldn’t reimburse the cost of the screening I paid for.
UPDATE 9/14 - Labcorp did make it right by actually coming to my house to take my blood so I didn't have to go back through this whole torturous process. Thank you Labcorp! ORIGINAL POST (9/11): Where to begin?!?! I had to get a specific test done that only LabCorp can get done on 8/25 and I received a call saying they didn't take enough blood for the test. My local Lab Corp... is not following guidelines to protect each patient is sees. Had Lab work scheduled for Sept 5, 2020 yesterday. Arrived, was told to watch to see if the man in room #1 was still there, if yes, when he leaves, you can enter the room. Upon entering, I was advised by tech to take a seat! Turned to see the notice on the wall about. “THIS AREA...REFERRING TO THE CHAIR... IS DISINFECTED AFTER EACH GUEST” .....This certainly did not take place. Went to Labcorp for a simple drug test to start my new position. To my surprise when my employees states that I have not completed my drug screen I’m looking like incorrect I have the paperwork to prove it. I would like information on how to log a formal complaint against one of your employees at location 2416 Colony Crossing Place, Midlothian, VA 23112. I went to this location today to get blood drawn for my 3yr old daughter. Out of respect I will refer to the employee as initials C.O. Upon arrival employee C.O. In Florida, they don't give you an estimate of what your costs can be and can charge you whatever amount they want to charge. They charged me, as an individual, almost double what they would have charged my doctor's office. Be cautious when using their services as you may be taken advantage of.
Although it is nice that LabCorp offers walk in services, The office on Pines Boulevard near Palm Avenue is extremely understaffed. Very long wait for service. I would strongly recommend that someone from management put an ad in the Sun Sentinel what are Miami Herald to get more technicians to work in this office.
