The Laars Mascot 199 is a great product if: You want to have to reset your Hot water every day. You want to have NO HEAT in your basement because the unit doesn't work. You want frozen pipes that burst and flood your basement because the Boiler function didn't work. Take cold showers at any time in the dead of winter because the unit doesn't work. I order a new LAARS boiler from someone other than LAARS in Sept. I also ask ordered the change over kit to change the boiler from natural gas to propane. I was promised the kit by Dec 24, that date came and went and I was told that it would be available by March 24. In the mean time my old boiler stopped working.
