I live in Las Vegas. My Dad lives about 2 miles from here. Regardless of if I see my Dad or not, I stop here when I'm in The Bay Area. Left Placerville this morning for home. Stoped by for some mortadella and caprese salad. No, I'm not crazy and yes, its worth the extra time and gas!
