Horrible Manager Cristina – I have lived in this apartment for some time. Let me firsts say that I love the location and I've been 60% happy with my experience living in this apartment complex. Only on the surface, could it be considered "luxury" though. This is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. – Seriously, the "management company" may come across as really sweet and understanding and helpful, it's a lie. They want your money. That is all. We were perfect tenants, never late on rent, when we moved out we cleaned it up and down. They will FIND A REASON to take your money. The worst apartment I have ever lived in – La Valencia is a horrible place to live. On numerous accounts police officers are either looking for someone in the apartment or answering some disturbance. There is no real parking available other than the one spot reserved for each apartment (even 2 bedroom, 2 bath). There have been multiple autos broken into or vandalized since I have been here. The apartments have been remodeled, but very poorely. Anyone looking at moving in should definately give it a second thought.
CANT WAIT TO MOVE!!!!!!! – So I've only been here 2 months so far, and I can't be more thankful I only have 5 weeks left. This place started off okay, except that the floorplans online showed there to be washer and dryer in the apartment. At first this was my only complaint. The unit I'm in is fully renovated so everything was new... can't argue with that. However, it's a good thing I'm 5'2" because the shower head is about 2 inches from my head. my experience – This is the first time i have ever lived in an apartment and i don't know if i just have high expectations or if it is really that horrible. I have lived at The Reserve since September of 2007 and i cant wait to move out. We never got new carpet so it smells and is badly stained, we also have a nice gap under our front door to let in all the insects, we have had our garbage disposal fixed twice, we have had 2 new refrigerators, our dishwasher is about to fall apart, not to mention that within the first few mo... read more
