La Unica is SOOOOO Yummy! I 200% recommend this restaurant. It's a small place in Indian Trail with a yummy menu. We've never had anything bad. They have great crunchy homemade tacos! The service is outstanding.
Great Little Mexican Restaurant La Unica is a great little Mexican restaurant tucked into a little strip center on Old Monroe Road. There have been several restaurants in this location over the years and none of them have received the same success as La Unica. There food is good quality Tex Mex at very reasonable prices. Go early because this little restaurant gets packed quickly!
BEST MEXICAN EVER We go here EVERY Friday to eat with a group from work. It is the best we have found!! would love if they would get "drinks" but for lunch the food is EXCELLENT!!
Response to Todd's review. We eat at La UNICA every Friday night. There is no other restaurant in Charlotte or the surrounding ares that can come close to La UNICA when it comes to authentic Mexican food. Todd, if you want to eat plantains you need to go to a Brazilian restaurant, because you went to the wrong place, or Taco Bell may be wright up your alley if you crave American-Mexican food.
THE best restaurant in Indian Trail This has to be THE best Mexican restaurant in the Charlotte area. Great food and great service! Very friendly and helpful staff! My only minor complaint is that I wish they served Marguiritas!
Not completely satisfied We went to La Unica since we do not have many local options out here in Indian Trail. The food was good, but they did not have any plantains, which we thought was strange. The service was good and they were very attentive. everything was served and presented well, but the food quality was not that good. If I was hungry for some Mexican food, I would go back, but only because there is not a lot of choices out here.
Seriously, someone not 100% happy? Todd you must have not eaten at the right place, this resturant is second to none. We go there weekly, know the staff personally and are greatly disappointed everytime we go somewhere else.
The BEST!!! – We love Mexican and this is the BEST mexican restaurant. We eat here about once a week because everything is so good, and the staff is super friendly. You have to eat at La Unica!
This Place is AWESOME This place is amazing, HIGHLY recommended. I always get the combo 5 with two beef enchiladas, rice, and beans. My family is going there for my moms birthday today, and I'm going there for my birthday later this month. Rain or shine, it's La Unica time!
