Antojitos La Texanita: A Love/Hate Relationship Posole was tasty, if quite over the top oily from the fat of the pigs feet. (It might be wise to have a defibrillator at the ready - or at least some serious heartburn meds.) I experienced heartburn for the first time in my life after dining here! Nonetheless I've been haunted by a mild craving for another bowl of posole ever since having it at La Texanita. . . Just changed my rating from two to three stars. . . but only for the posole. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. It was worth the drive from Sacramento. Will be doing it again.
Was upset thinking I was overcharged but wasn’t there was issues possibly with bank. Service was good and food was great there was no issues and I do apologize for the behavior and allegations I posted previously. I do recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.
