A newcomer to Little Italy, La Tavola does Italian cuisine with a bit of modern flair, and the emphasis is on seafood. Here the tortelloni is stuffed with ground grouper as well as ricotta cheese, and the list of specials is more likely to include tuna than veal. The Insalata Di Mare, a shrimp, clam, scallop, squid and mussel salad with an orange flavored dressing, is a must. The décor is modest, even a bit bland, but with food this good, you may never notice.

Incredible Find ~ Highly Recommend – On a 5 day business trip we were steered to La Tavola...BEST dining we had the WHOLE trip, and we tried many recommended places. We were impressed with the staff, they were the Host/Hostess, Bartender, Waiter/Waitress, bus folks, and delivery persons....and they did all jobs with a SMILE. Great food! La Tavola is a great Italian restaurant with fresh homemade pasta and a great selection for vegetarians! Their bruschetta appetizer is a must have....and the Gnocchi is so well prepared. Great food.
Great everything, but very small portions of everything! – We went here a week ago because of all the rave reviews. Well, we soon realized that those reviews were ancient. The atmosphere is still beautiful and the food still great, but the portions were very small. Everyone in our party agreed. I know we didn't order from the kid's menu! The bread seemed stale and old. The prices are very steep for what you get.
Amazing owner! – We always have a great time with such amazing food. It's a wonderful place to go for dinner. If you go early you can get right in. We love Mike, who makes the whole experience wonderful. We will always recommend La Tavola.
