Food was lacklustre and nothing to write home about. We should have stuck with their specialty, pizza and pasta...which is tough to do on a low carb diet. Now we are informed that they are "closed for 2 weeks" but arent told why. On good note, our service was great!

We were there for dinner last week and everything was amazing. I want to give a special thanks to our waitress Lisa. Our group had vegan and gluten free customers, and Lisa was so helpful. Everything we ordered was amazing and most of all I got my peach dumpling I’ve been craving!

Our party of 4 went for dinner tonight. Out of 4 only 1 person liked her dinner. She had cheese and crab dip with chips. I had frozen chicken tenders that were fried but not the least bit crisp. Oriental chicken s salad was not cold and the chicken did not taste good. The alfredo sauce dish did taste good but the shrimp in the dish was rubbery. Our server was excellent. We were so disappointed. Never had food like this from this restaurant.
We went a few weeks ago and dined in, our service was fantastic. We all got burgers and they were good but nothing special. BUT we stopped by yesterday to grab a couple of pizzas to sit by the lake and picnic...my first thought was wow that's kinda expensive, they better be good...and once we opened it up and tried it, it was definitely worth the price. Probably some of the best pizza I've had. Will definitely be stopping by again when were in the area!
Been several times but today wasn’t good. Maybe it was an off day so I won’t say much. Hoping next time is better.
The view was beautiful. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was wonderful!!
La Strada is a regular hang-out when we visit Asheville. A lovely ride through the hills, followed by great food and drink. Salads, terrific pizza, lasagna, parmigiana, all excellent—and the locals come from miles around for local mountain trout. Oh, and did I mention a view of the Blue Ridge over the lake that money can’t buy? Great company, friendly and attentive service, and close attention to cleanliness and distancing. A can’t miss treat at Lake Lure!
The pizza is amazing! I have never ordered anything here that I didn’t love!
