Probably our last time to stay at this location. We were told as of the first of the year no pets allowed and that the breakfast will also be gone. It used to be a great place
We have been coming to La Serena Inn since 2012. The location is primo. It's located one block from the Morro Bay Embarcadero, Dorn's Restaurant and walking distance from the Morro Bay Rock. The hotel has has a couple renovations and has recently been acquired by new owners. To our delight the the 2nd floor is still pet friendly, the prices have remained reasonable and the hotel is super clean. We highly recommend staying at La Serena Inn in Morro Bay.
We were very happy with our room here, it was a great distance from everything we like to visit in Morro Bay. We were able to walk to the embarcadero and around to the beach and were literally a block away from the night life at the Siren. Breakfast is a must for any hotel we stay at and there was a great breakfast here with outdoor rooftop patio to eat from. We'll definitely be staying here again.

The Serena Inn is conveniently located in Morro Bay within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beautiful harborfront. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel provides free parking. Rooms are large, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was also really good with lots of options such as waffles, cereals, toast, apples and much more.
