I have allergies to foods and health issues that make it so I can't eat certain foods. I was brought here for Dinner by my Mother-in-law for my Husband and Mine Anniversary. I was ordering my Dinner and was telling the waitress what I couldn't have. She seem to get irritated and short with me. I ordered the same thing I did the last time...the Cantina Combo, but with a "shredded" beef burrito. It arrived with ground beef. So I picked at the nachos til the server came back. She took the plate with her. So they make another. There's more refried beans than anything in the burrito. My last dinner didn't even have the beans in it, which was totally fine and that's what I expected. And, I verified this time that the rice and beans comes on the side for the combo's. Went 2 years ago and was pretty decent. Went yesterday and it was awful! Found the Mexican flag toothpick buried deep inside my chimichanga. Waitress said that was second time it happened yesterday! She only offered free dessert, not discount on meal I didn't want to eat anymore. The lettuce tasted awful too. There was lettuce and tomatoes in the mac and cheese that didn't belong there either.
Worst waitress I have ever experienced. No passion or enthusiasm what so ever. We were the burden in her day. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. The staff would be so much happier without customers.
Wednesday night 6:20 pm....watched 22 people walk out....no hostess...bartender completely ignored everyone inquiring about a hostess. Dining room not open....sad....very very poor representation for this restaurant
We have been here many times while coming to Petoskey, and the food is always very good and the prices are reasonable.
It was extremely slow service, even thou it was not busy. It took me over 45 minutes to get a drink refill. The waitress came to our table one time. And she came back a second time almost a hour later. Won't be back anytime soon
The only Mexican thing is the name, very disappointed �
I really do not know how this establishment stays open. On Monday evening I went and waited to be seated. After about 5 min the server took my order. I ordered the Portabella fajitas. Server then told me I could get my own chips and salsa. After awhile my food was finally ready. The mushrooms and veggies were hot on the skillet. The refried beans were cold and the rice tasted like someone just poured tomato puree over it. Service was poor and food quality was less than one star. But that was not an option.
