Great Food and Service We have eaten here on two occasions when we visited relatives and went to plays. We ate on the patio the last visit. The food is very good and you have to have a dessert. Bigggg helping of pie.
Awful Experience! Let me start by saying we went to La Roe's for a place to conduct some business, then have lunch. We started with the business and then were going to have lunch. We had been there about 30 min when the person transacting our business asked to use an outlet to plug in a small printer to print one page. I have always had a great experience while visiting la roe’s!
One of my all time favorite places to eat in Grand Rapids.. The owner is always so pleasant.. The staff willing to let you sample the homemade soups before you select.. The decor very nice, quaint, cozy and in the spring, the back porch over looking the river is so calming..Oh ... and the food is wonderful (Lobster grill cheese..😋😋😋)
Dave, great birthday dinner with friends last week. Beautiful hometown feel and the Whitefish sooo good. Enjoying the Poppyseeed dressing.
It would have been a good experience except for a gentleman that works there named Dave. I believe he is the owner but he is ALWAYS very very rude, short tempered, and condescending. The first time I thought that maybe he was in a bad mood or it was a bad day (which happens to everyone I guess) but every single time I have gone there I am greeted by him with a rude demeanor.
