I have always had a great experience while visiting la roe’s!
One of my all time favorite places to eat in Grand Rapids.. The owner is always so pleasant.. The staff willing to let you sample the homemade soups before you select.. The decor very nice, quaint, cozy and in the spring, the back porch over looking the river is so calming..Oh ... and the food is wonderful (Lobster grill cheese..😋😋😋)
Dave, great birthday dinner with friends last week. Beautiful hometown feel and the Whitefish sooo good. Enjoying the Poppyseeed dressing.
It would have been a good experience except for a gentleman that works there named Dave. I believe he is the owner but he is ALWAYS very very rude, short tempered, and condescending. The first time I thought that maybe he was in a bad mood or it was a bad day (which happens to everyone I guess) but every single time I have gone there I am greeted by him with a rude demeanor. Amazing food and service. When you go...i recommend the 3 cheese ravioli. Its so good!!! The patio provides such a beautiful view. Make sure to make reservations.
