Driving around SE Texas and needed to stop for the night. Last room.. took it. Price didn't seem to br jacked up for the weekend. Room looked updated and cleaned. Ample soap and shower, towels were great. Staff was pleasant during check in. With many hotels cutting back breakfast I was surprised to learn this hotel had 3 hours. The food was standard but it was generous. I would stay here again next time the urge to explore SE TX again.
Staff did not provided check out info… google map indicates 12pm and we went by that information. Left at 11:30ish and the manager indicated a late check out fees. I explained this checkout was not disclosed at time of check in. Manager (middle aged middle eastern lady) refused to provide her name. She’s an employee and should wear a name tag as well as should provide name when asked. Tag helps identify that they are staff at the hotel. NEVER COMING BACK AT THIS HOTEL.
