Great value because it’s horrible. It’s a relatively clean hotel with clean beds and does just fine for a night. The shower curtains don’t close so you only get like a foot and a half of coverage before water goes on the floor. There’s also mold on the bathroom ceiling and hair stuck to every towel in the place. Lots of kids with paper thin walls so you can hear the whole hotel and every screaming child on the floor. Wonderful experience again at this hotel. The breakfast is amazing, the building is clean and comfortable and the staff is the best!! I always get personable, friendly and fast service from Nissa with a beautiful smile! Meadow is also very helpful and kind! The rooms are large and warm, they don't feel stale or cookie cutter like some motels. This is a great choice if you're in Salem and want to stay at a place were the staff makes you feel like you're home!

There are cock roaches in the rooms. Don't turn off the lights. The old lady at the front desk suggested that I just kill the cock roach with my shoe. She also advised me to take a photo of the cock roach if I was going to file a complaint with management. We checked out before midnight, on 03/28/2026, but the invoice she gave me didn't have any amounts charged and the departure date was for 03/29/2026. I am going to ask for a refund as well as report them to the health department and hire and attorney.

This hotel was amazing! Great service, always welcomed when we walked through the door, the rooms were very clean and newly renovated. The fitness center and pools were both very nice, and there was a huge array of breakfast options in the morning as well as the complimentary cookies throughout the day! The only thing I’d say is the lighting was very dim in the hallways making it hard to see, and it had a distinct grimey smell. Other than that it was outstanding! Can’t wait to come back.
