BEWARE working for this hotel - now express stay inn - if you are any kind of professional. They hired me to work on their pool and refuse to pay $300 for reasons such as: i left a cardboard box and I came to balance the pool at 4am (when nobody is swimming and I can safely add chemicals). The new owners have no problem scamming you to your face. This is AFTER I went out of my way to make it possible for them to open their jacuzzi on July 4th by putting together a crazy filter bypass system. I didn't get paid for that either... read more
Pool is covered in black spots
This la Quinta, according to them, isn't a la Quinta inn. They still answered phone la Quinta inn still on their uniforms still listed everywhere as but they are not according to the employees. The check-in was embarrassing for the employees. Was told many lies that caught them in. Long story short will not support them in the future.
Very gross. Dirty sheets covered in ash and hair . Mattress pad cover in pee. Sticky carpet in the room. Roaches in the hallway and in the room
Great hotel. I got there about 11pm (much later than expected) but the staff had everything ready to go. Check-in was seamless & easy. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Fridge & microwave. I was attending a conference at the Battle House. Took about 15 mins to travel to and fro. I felt safe in the area. Did not try the free breakfast but would stay again if in the Mobile area.
