Room 315 Damp carpets, AC unit not cooling, HUMIDITY, MUSTY, room smelled like mold, feet and flowers (deodorizer spray, so staff knew the room smelled bad) Driving 8 hours, late check in. Walked into room and thought NOPE,NOPE but everyone was exhausted so I covered my nose with my tshirt and fell asleep Woke up coughing and wheezing at 1:30 am Asked for a room switch and denied. 30 minutes later we asked again and we were switched to room 313 Smelled musty too, but at least it didn’t smell like flowers , feet and mold! We stayed here for a wedding nearby and were pleasantly surprised. The suite was spacious, clean, and even had a wet bar—something missing from more expensive hotels we’ve stayed at recently. Most importantly, the A/C worked great, which has been a problem in some higher-end brands. The pool and hot tub were clean and inviting, the fitness center had what we needed, and perks like free breakfast, free parking, and a noon checkout made the stay even better. -1 for service. 8-14-25 I had the manager at the front desk after asking to look at 1 room. They first showed me a double queen which I didn’t ask for. Then they showed me a king that was a bit small. The manager lady said “we’re not going to keep showing you rooms.” Like, I only saw 1 room that I asked for. And she said the room looks just like the picture. I’m not looking at rooms for the fun of it. I do it to make sure it’s clean and has no bugs.
