UPDATE. Thank you for responding. I understand that the hotel was sold out and that maintenance was not available early in the morning. I’ve stayed at several La Quinta properties and have generally had very positive experiences, which is why this stay stood out to me. Both elevators really noisy and super shaky. Edit in response: They were excessively shaky to the point that my entire party was concerned about safety. I've ridden in hundreds of elevators and this was the first time I was even remotely concerned about it breaking.
I expected a smoother stay, especially given the brand and the number of travelers visiting Denton for conferences. I’ve stayed at several other La Quinta properties and have always had great customer service, which made this experience especially disappointing. Stayed here 5 days. The room was checked once but I had what we had what we needed. Breakfast was always a challenge to get food out on the buffet, but we didn't starve. Plenty of parking. Internet was not the greatest signal. Staff were friendly. La Quinta needs to educate the people at the front desk on how to access early check in and online check out.
