This hotel is horrible. #1 The hotel didn't honor a reservation that I made several months prior to my arrival date. They put me on the first floor in another room type - a/c broke and room smelled disgusting. #2 I went back to front desk for another room. B/C I had a pet, room type not available on first floor so I had to take room on second floor and charged an additional $100.00 extra pet fee. I was told that pet's only allowed on first floor. Not exceptional as far as bathroom had mold corroded tub drain. Disgusting. Silicone in tub was moldy and had that orange scum. Water pressure good. We did not eat the breakfast. 1st floor was freezing in hall. Door didnt shut luke it should you could see around it. Inside bathroom door had what appeard to be possibly blood or some kind of hand prints We used to stay here when we were in the area I think I would not stay again. 2 rooms our 107 and 104.

Lots of smoking going on in this hotel. The entire second floor smelled like marijuana. Discarded joints on the floor in the hallway. Our room was clean upon checkin but our room was never visited by housekeeping during our three night stay. Our trash was never emptied and we never received fresh towels. I know the way hotels handle housekeeping has changed but I've never experienced the trash not being taken out. The hotel feels a little dingy overall. I had a wonderful experience at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Alexandria. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with an extra comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, tasty, and with plenty of options to start the day right. The hotel’s location is convenient, close to the airport and major highways, making it easy to get around. Think hard before you decide to stay here. They ask for you to pay an additional $100 deposit up front and claim you will get it back within ten days However i never did get my deposit back. I called them numerous times, each time they claimed it had been processed. As of today I still have not received my deposit back. The hotel isn’t as nice as they claim it is either
