I was needing to find a testing psychologist near ventura county to help my son get an iep for ADHD, and was glad I was referred to Dr. Sorenson. She was super nice and accommodating, and the psychological testing report had everything needed to get accommodations for the school and treatment started for my son.

Administrative staff are incompetent. They did not uphold efficient billing practices and they will not work with you to resolve their billing mistakes.

I was surprised to see negative reviews for this place. The only challenges I had was with appointment scheduling, which is consistent with every health clinic in the US. I think LAPA did a very thorough job. Dr. Sorensen speaks very quickly but there was a lot of information to cover in a limited amount of insurance-covered visits. Everyone was pleasant, responsive and patient.

I was surprised to see negative reviews for this place. The only issue I had was the timing/pace of appointments, which is really an issue everywhere. I think LAPA did a very thorough job and was insightful with their assessments and recommendations. Dr. Sorensen speaks very quickly! But I still felt heard. There's a lot of information to cover in so many visits. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, responsive and patient.
