I went thru Axis's DBT curriculum twice and learned some skills to help me be less reactive (i.e. suppress emotions). However, the program did little to help me reduce my feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem which drives my depression, anxiety and isolation. I’m a patient here and the doctors are awesome. The pharmacy is also great. The glaring problem with Axis is the front desk. They almost never pick up. And if you leave a message they might return your call 5 days later or never at all. How can a building servicing people with mental health issues be this bad at answering the phone? You guys need to find a way to do better here.

The service here is pretty frustrating. I’ve been a patient here for 3 years and the service has gone unchanged. When you call the office I have never once had anyone pick up. You leave a message and wait 2-3 days before someone calls you back. And if you miss the call it’s a constant game of phone tag. I’ve gotten to the point where I just have to drive up there every single month to request my RX Refill. And then have to drive up there again to pick it up. I used to have no issues getting appointments, orders, etc., but lately, no answer to their front desks, no follow up when leaving voicemails, and today their voicemail box is full. I have been waiting on follow through for a simple x-ray order from my PT for over 3 months, after both myself and my PT have sent them multiple requests and talked to them numerous times. I adore my therapist and she is always quick to get back to me but recently i’ve been having issues with my psychiatrist not wanting to get back to me about scheduling an appointment or why she suddenly won’t fill my prescriptions. All my calls go straight to voicemail as well as never getting a call back after leaving a voicemail. For a week i was told she would fill my prescriptions and they still have not been filled.
