I love this place I am craving their chips and salsa. Their lunch specials are great and well priced. Our favorite waiter was Ruben. He is great and very attentive
Is there MSG in all La Pinata food I love Mexican food but am very sensitive to MSG. I have eaten at La Pinata a few times at Concord and Fremont; since my boss likes La Pinata it has become a regular meeting place. I have tried several different items from the menu, but each time I become ill with a headache or worse. It is now removed from my list of choices for Mexican food.

Great food for a good price La Pinata is a great Mexican restaurant which offers great food for a good value. Overall, the ambience is good and the servers are great. Also the portions they offer are generous and filling. All this adds up to an awesome restaurant. Last time we went, we got a pitcher of margarita which was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend it!
Poor Service La Pinata has good food when you get the correct order. I have been to the Fremont Restaurant 2 times in the last year and both times they got our order wrong with excessive wait time for the orders to get corrected. On 11/21/2008 I had to wait for them to correct my order, (they gave my order to someone else)while the rest of my family ate their meals. Great Food Fair Prices Went here with my girl and we liked our experience overall. The food was great, the service was good and the prices were reasonable. Great place to enjoy authentic Mexican food. Will definitely come back to this place.
Good Mexican Food. Excellent Drinks. I am born and raised in San Diego California and was seeking some home-style Mexican food and stumbled across this goldmine. The food is so flavorful and the drinks are unique and strong, kind of like me. : ) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving good Mexican food in an authentic environment.
amazing Mexican food One of the best places to have mexican food, i think. They have amazing choices in the menu and have great drinks to go with the menu. The prices are really competitive and the service is amazing. Greatest tasting salsa with free tortillas. A must visit for a mexican food buff IMHO. Have great sandwiches too. pretty good experience overall It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was not crowded until we left and then it was like a bus dropped off. Food was served quickly, waiter was attentive. Overall, food was good, not great, but worth the money.
