Been coming here for 50 years. Now I bring my grandchildren! Love this place!
Ate here the other night to check it out for a possible spot for my upcoming rehearsal dinner. There's a cool Private room for 50. The patio is the best part of the place. We enjoyed the margaritas, carne asada tacos and threw back a shot or two of tequila. Service was really fast and friendly. The food spicy range goes from tourist level to my mouth is on fire. Great place and would definitely recommend for locals and tourists
I've been coming to La Pinata for over 40 years now. It's always been my favorite restaurant in Old Town. Its family friendly with a authentic feel. I love to sip margaritas out on the patio and my go-to meal is the delicious carnitas. Another plus is the free parking.
Stop by every chance I get when I travel to San Diego... Delicious and good service everytime....
Truly disappointed. Did NOT live up to the sign "Best in San Diego". 9.00 for a plain flavorless taco, you are better off going to a taco truck. They only had one type of salsa which was like water. The only positive, was the nice waiter.
Bland Food. No Draft Beer. Table Salsa was different in a bad way. Tortillas were Paper thin & not hand made. I had the Chili Verde, not much Verde just Pork. Very slow service. Chips were very hard, probably store bought. What was good? Free Parking, short wait time to be seated. Beans & Rice were not up to "Homemade" status....
