About this business

This eclectic Mexican restaurant has been open for over 20 years and is famous for its Sunday Margarita brunches, complete with a mariachi band and 140 kinds of Tequila. While La Paz does serve traditional Mexican food, including barbecued goat, it’s the Yucatan style seafood menu that stands out. Seafood selections include fish, octopus, oysters, calamari, mussels, scallops and frog legs. The interior is highly original, with tricycles and wagons hanging from the ceiling along with dollars tossed up for the patrons by... read more

as bad as motel 6 – poor service, organizing, and customer service skills. A group of 23 people decided to celebrate mothers day at La paz the reservation for sunday branch needed to be paid in advancea at $ 28.00 per person ether by check or cash and no refunds. Food was not the best, and overcrowred, surpass the capacity limit . Our reservation spaces was not respected, 4 chairs was missing, as we inquired about the missing space, we was yelled at, and treated to call the police on us if we continue demaiding what we paid ... read more

Best Mexican seafood. Great sunday brunch! – I love La Paz, we go for Sunday brunch all the time and have so much fun. They have a great mariachi band there on Sundays, be sure to make a reservation. For those that don't know the area, it might be a little hard to find, it's a bit tucked away. Best albondigas soup I have ever had. Comer con gusto!

Gourmet Mexican food – Absolutely excellent Mexican food and a unique menu. I particularly like the goat. The vegetable nachos are special too. If I had one complaint it's the uncomfortable chairs, but this certainly isn't a stopper.

Fresh Guacamole and huge portions – Great place to take the family or just for two. It is a larger sized restaurant so you usually don't have to wait more than a few minutes. They have a big menu with the typical tacos, enchiladas, etc. but also have the more unusual dishes. They also have great fresh guacamole which I am a huge fan of. There is nothing like ice cold beer, Mexican food and fresh guacamole. They have an interesting soup that has meatballs, try it. Salsa and chips complimentary for starters. It has an interest... read more

Yummmmmmm! – Fun restaurant, great food, bossy waiter (love him)! Excellent for large groups. If you're going to write a review, please spell correctly and formulate proper sentences so we can take you seriously. ;-)

Really bad customer service of all people theowner – I have gone to this restaurant and know people who use to go there for lunch I woul right around the corner. I was there this past Friday with co-workers we ran a tab at the end the evening the tab was a little over $200 nothing to outrages for about 12 people I decided to pick up the bill and when I gave my credit card I was asked for I.D. now I really didn't see why I needed to show I.D. I was told by the server that the owner wanted to see it I asked her to tell the own... read more

Good Mexican food, excellent choice for lunch buffet – I've been to La Paz on various occasions for lunch and the buffet can't be beat. By far, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area (if not the best). Decor reminds me of a cantina with the hardwood tables and natural colors. I've been here mainly for their lunch buffet and have not been disappointed thus far. The restaurant is somewhat "tucked" away since it's not easily seen from either the freeway or the road it's located on. Menu is extensive and afforda... read more

Watch out for Sunday's! – The best day to go to this restaurant is on a sunday for brunch. They have all you can eat seafood (shrimp, oysters, crab salad, salmon), meats (beef and chicken), menudo, and you can create your own omalette YUMMY!! The desserts are not that great. Along with the all you can eat buffet they offer ALL YOU CAN DRINK MARGARITAS!!! The margaritas are pretty good, however, sometimes you can taste the cheap tequilla. Overall they're good! They also have 2 mariachis that play inside and outside (patio sit... read more

Unique Flavors – Very unique menu and cuisine. Great flavors. Beautiful restaurant and very large facility to accomodate groups. Outside dining is wonderful. Will have to try Sunday Seafood Brunch. Definitely a special occasion dining spot.
