About this business

La Pasadita Restaurant is a neighborhood favorite, as demonstrated by the constant flow of people. The burritos are succulent, and the soft tacos, bought in pairs, are just as good. Some other of the homemade favorites include parilladas and chiles rellenos. Walk in, take a seat, place your order and prepare to be blown away by the rich favors of Mexico as you dig into your meal. The place is absolutely no-nonsense, which is nice if you are in a hurry and on a budget.

Below Avg. Steak Tacos & Burritos. Steak Tacos were chewey, not tasty or well-seasoned, and oily. – Sorry, but I must strongly disagree with all those folks that think this place has the best (steak) tacos & burritos. Found the steak meat to be tough/chewey and not particularly tasty or well-seasoned. Tacos were also very greasy, and too little 'filling' of onions and cilantro. Also, we paid the extra 50cents for gaucamole, and there was barely a quarter-teaspoon if that on any of the Tacos. And, dissappointed there was no o... read more

The BEST dam burrito's in the history of the world! Period! If you do one thing before you die, eat here! Then you can die! – I have been coming here since I was a teenager, which is about 20 years, and this is by far the best place for burrito's I have ever been to in my life! I now live in Grayslake, which is an hour to an hour and a half from La Pasadita, but when I am in the mood for one I will drive all the way down just for a burrito! To die for! I wish someone would give my a couple of burrito's for Christmas-that wou... read more

Numero Uno Burrito – I have been eating at the little yellow shack on Ashland, Las Pasadita, for about 20 years now. They have by far, the best steak burritos I have ever had. You may want the hot sauce on the side so that you control how hot you like it, DELICIOUS!

awsome burrito – I have been going to the one with only the counter for 20 years, my husband lived down the street. The other locations across the street might be by the same people but in order to get the true burrito or taco you have to go to the original one. No other steak burrito compares!

A prime after-hours destination draws night owls with tongue tacos and killer veggie burritos. – In Short La Pasadita has a mini-empire in this neighborhood, with three different stores on the same block. The main sit-down (the one with the black sign) seats about 40 and serves burritos and parrilladas (dinner plates); the other sit-down two doors down has a meat-heavy menu, with favorites like tongue tacos and soft beef burritos. Burritos star on the menu, particularly the veggie, stuffed with yellow rice, avocado, tomato a... read more

Simply Put...HEAVEN !! – Being a Chicago native, I got spoiled with La Pasadita. When I moved to the suburbs, The 40 minute drive for the finest Mexican food was no big deal. I now live in North Carolina and I make regular trips back just to stock up on 20 - 40 Burritos to bring back with me to sustain my cravings. This is absolutely the best burrito I have had, anywhere. The steak is done perfectly and the balance of cilantro, onions and cheese make this the best. Unlike others, Pasadita does NOT load thier burritos with be... read more

Simply the best - anywhere – If you think you've had better, you're wrong. This is my favorite pigout place in the city along with Lem's BBQ and Harold's Chicken. 1. Best bet: Carne Asada burrito with onions and cilantro, cheese, and guacamole. The lengua verde is also really good. 2. Great fresh chips come with dualing salsas which are firey, fresh, smokey and awesome. 3. Horchata. Horchata. Horchata.

#1 taco in the world=La pasadita – La pasadita tacos are the best tacos i have ever eaten. the first pasadita(yellow and small) is usually crowed on the weekends but the wait is worth it. when you bite into a savory taco. oh my god its sooooooooooooo good. you have to taste it for yourself to know what i mean. i recommend this place to everybody. it might not be a five star restaurant but the food is. Viva Mexico!!
