The drinks were superb and the food was okay. I think our waiter was new because he was not on top of things like I'm use to. He was courteous and very nice though.

Mother's Day just wasn't the time to be here. We arrived for lunch (my son/mom date) about noon. The service was not good, we felt forgot about because we asked to sit on the porch as it was a beautiful day outside. If they didn't have someone ready to work that area we could have been told that it wasn't open yet for use and I would have understood. Good food, one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Management is GREAT, and the bar staff rivals any in town!
Went for lunch with the girls on May 5. Not very crowded before the lunch crowd. The only margaritas they would serve is el patron at 7.99 each. What?? No house margaritas. They said it was easier for the bartenders. Maybe only 25 people in the whole place. We left and I will not go back. Will not be forced to spend more money because they are greedy and lazy. Over the years we have spent thousands in there. No more. I'm done. Jalapeños 4.50 and friendly wait staff.
Went to Savannah to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at their La Parrilla location and left, very disappointed. Although margaritas were advertised as the special La Parrilla margaritas--freshly squeezed lime juice--I returned my drink because it was not what we were used to. The bar tender said they were told to use a mix and no fresh limes. We called our daughter and her family to check with the Griffin location before they went to the location to celebrate, and they were told that La Parrilla was not using fresh limes either...jus... read more
