La parilla is our go to Mexican restaurant!! We always enjoy our food and the service.
This place is the worst Mexican place in Tidewater, beware of the food they serve !! This is not a family oriented restaurant at all. Its an assembly line place, they get an attitude if you don't order as soon as you walk in. Half the waiters are illegal immigrants from Mexico !! They slap the chips and sauce down and a minute later are standing there as if you are supposed to be ready to order. Fast, fast, fast... In and out ! Excellent time! It was my birthday and everyone celebrated with me!
The food is really good but the service needs improvement. Requested more floured tortillas 3 times and never got them and when our event was over, waiters were almost pushing you out the door to bring in others customers. "WE GOT YOUR MONEY, NOW GIT!"
